Jim Rivers

Jim is President of United Capital, where he oversees the executive leadership team and is responsible for the firm’s vision, mission, and strategic direction. He works closely with the national team of financial professionals to help ensure clients receive personal financial planning and customized investment solutions.
Prior to joining United Capital, Jim was a Managing Director and Region Head of Goldman Sachs Personal Financial Management, overseeing services provided to high-net-worth clients in the West Region. Earlier in his career, he held leadership and advisory roles with Ayco and the Goldman Sachs Partners Family Office. Jim earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Fordham University and a Juris Doctor degree from Brooklyn Law School.
