Charles Goldman, former Schwab and Fidelity RIA custody chief, has joined Orion Advisor Solutions’ board, signaling potential moves into RIA custody or expanded wealthtech offerings. Goldman, who previously led AssetMark through a custody launch and IPO, brings deep operational and strategic expertise to Orion. The Omaha-based firm, backed by Genstar and TA Associates, manages $3 trillion in administered assets and recently merged with Brinker Capital, creating one of the largest TAMP platforms in the U.S. Orion CEO Eric Clarke expressed enthusiasm for Goldman’s addition, highlighting his innovative insights and transformative leadership.
